This Meetup is run by the same folks who brought you the OC Asatru Meetup, and is for studies and discussion pertaining to the Poetic and Prose Edda, Icelandic Sagas, Scandinavian/Germanic folklore, the Kalevala, and historical texts (Tacitus, Bede, Saxo, etc). Kron -- "crown" in medieval German -- is an affiliate of the HEMA Alliance, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to research and teaching of HEMA: Historical European Martial Arts.
