I want to thank my two dear squires, Charles and Elix for their help with the George Silver symposium at the Mystic Celt.

We had 30 or so onlookers as we went over the basics of Silver's system over about 30 minutes time, during which we answered some very in depth questions from inquisitive and interested persons.

Many times my squires jumped in to answer questions, not only backing up their statements with Silver's philosophies, but also by contextualizing western martial arts has a whole throughout many time periods by many different historical swordsmen. This is not only a testament to their ability to memorize treatises and individual techniques by the masters, but to their in depth understanding
of the medieval and Renassiance fighting arts.

I'm truly proud that they are able to not only learn these combat arts but to fulfill their obligation as members of this 501-c3 educational organization, and portray medieval combat in a true-to-history manner, dispelling myths and misconceptions often and continually propagated by individuals, groups and media unwilling or incapable of properly depicting medieval combat practically and responsibly.

And thanks for the birthday party too ;) Love you guys!
