About The Empire of Chivalry and Steel Meetup

I started the Medieval Hisotry and Re-creation Group to bring together people who are interested in Medieval Re-creation. Specifically I am associated with, and looking for people to join me in, The Empire of Chivalry and Steel (ECS), a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching and re-creating Medieval life, but I welcome anyone else who shares interest in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Members of the ECS are encouraged to adopt a persona, an alter ego of sorts, who would have lived some time between the years 800AD and 1650AD in Western Europe. Activites can include, but are not limited to: swordfighting tournaments, arts collegiums, feasts, camping events, and royal courts. People of all ages are welcome at our Meetup events, so I hope to see you there.

For those interested in joining the ECS, here are a few things to know:
Membership is $30/year, and goes to pay the organization's insurance premium and events for members. There is a free, 3 month prospective period available, if you want to see if this organization is right fot you.
